Hey, my name is Hannah Bunting and I am 13. I love to read, play with animals, hang out with my friends, and talk. I am REALLY good at talking! :)
I am really excited to use my people skills to meet new people and learn more about them, even though we speak different languages. I am also excited to learn more about God and what he is doing in His community. I love animals so seeing all of them roaming around is going to be hard. Whenever I see a hurting animal, I want to go up and help them, but I can't or I might be bitten. I hope that you will be praying for my team as we go on this trip!

Welcome!
Welcome to the blog for the 2010 Middle School Honduras Team from Blackhawk Church! We’re really excited about the upcoming trip, and are busy planning, fundraising, and getting to know one another as a team.
For those of you who don’t know, 19 middle school students and seven adult leaders will be traveling to Siguatepeque, Honduras on June 24th and will return on July 7th. We will be partnering with a youth group in Honduras to run a camp (Cerro de Luz) for students from area schools. The Blackhawk students will be fellow campers with the local students, and the adults will be serving as camp counselors. We will also spend some time working with the local youth group on service projects in the city. As a team, we really want to focus on building relationships with the Hondurans while working together to serve their community.
We want this blog to be a place for people to post things their excited about, prayer requests, answers to prayers, etc. As the trip comes closer, we will also post the itinerary and other important information regarding the trip. While we are in Honduras, we will do our best to post pictures and updates to keep everyone in the loop on our adventures!
